Pelikan 520NN - Rolled Gold Overlay (Pen 713)

This is a Pelikan 520NN made with a rolled gold overlay for the cap and barrel. These were made from 1957-1963. The turning knob on this one does not have an overlay, and the price is adjusted as a result. In terms of history, the gold overlay was probably made in Italy although the pen was made in Germany. The pen in great condition other than the turning knob, which doesn't affect the function at all. Excellent transparency for the ink-view section. The nib is a 14 Kt fine. It's a piston filler. 5 1/8", 130 mm.
