This is a modern rendering of the Conklin Word Gauge, a classic pen of the 1930s. This Word Gauge is a piston filler and is much better made than most modern Conklins that have passed through my hands. It's used and the ink chamber is a bit discolored by blue ink, but there's very little wear and no brassing. Fine pointed steel nib. Made in Italy. 5 1/2", 140 mm.
