German Fend - Silver-colored Metal Pen (SB 607) - PRICE REDUCED

Nib: 18 Kt Fine-Medium

Fend is not a well known name, but they were a German company based in Pforzheim, and they specialized in the production of metal pens and pencils. They did metalwork for Montblanc at times, and the craftsmanship in this pen is obvious. There's no hallmark, so I don't know if this silver or whether there's an underlaying metal plated with some metal like rhodium. The silver color is uniform and there's very little wear. The nib is 18 Kt and I'd classify it as a fine-medium or medium-fine. 5 1/2", 140 mm, and quite heavy. Cartridge/Converter filler. Was $200, now
