Osmia Faber-Castell 884 - Black (SB630)

Nib: Fine Flexible 14 Kt

Osmia was a high-quality German pen manufacturer who was purchased by Faber-Castell in 1951. Because the reputation of Osmia was strong, F-C kept the Osmia brand until the 1960s. This is one of their core models, an 884, in black. The barrel is embossed with "Osmia" on one side, "Faber-Castell" on the other, and the clip says "Osmia." The nib is fine flexible Osmia Supra 14 Kt. This is a great pen for almost any purpose - a great writer, collectible, and neat piece of history. Flaws: the cap band is quite brassed. Otherwise, it's in great shape. Piston filler. 5 1/8", 130 mm.
