Parker Parkette Deluxe - Red Marbled (Pen 2164)

Nib: Fine Steel Parkette Nib

The Parkette was one of Parker's discount pens during the Depression era. It's not fancy, even though this is a Parkette Deluxe, but it is marked by a faceted barrel and cap that are quite distinctive. Black derbies at either end of the pen. The nib is steel and says "Parkette Made in USA 46." Probably made in 1935. One of Parker's few lever filling models. This one would be in very good-excellent shape except that it's missing one of its three thin cap bands. There's also some brassing to the clip. 5", 127 mm.
