Pelikan 400 NN - Green and Black (SB 651)

Nib: 14 Kt Extra Fine (but more medium on paper)

This is a Green-striated and black Pelikan 400nn from the early 1950s. It has an Extra-fine rigid nib (as labelled), but my test sample demonstrates that it writes more like a medium. The condition is very good-excellent, with some mild desk wear and brassing to the end of the clip. Piston-filler, good transparency to the barrel. 5 1/8", 132 mm. A very reliable pen for regular use.
