Sheaffer Snorkel Valiant - Gray (Pen 2180)
Nib: Two-tone conical Medium 14 Kt
The Sheaffer Snorkel was a very clever 1950s design. On filling, the pen has a thin tube that extends into the ink, keeping the nib neat and minimizing the need to wipe the pen of ink. This pen can also drink the last drops from a well-loved bottle of ink. This example is in Pastel Gray and the plastic is in very nice shape. The nib is two-tone 14 Kt conical and is somewhere between a fine and medium. The pen has new gaskets and a new sac. 5 5/8", 142 mm.
