Pelikan 400 - Black (SB 687)

Pelikan makes great pens. This is a piston filler from the 1950s. It's black/black, although the barrel is actually very dark green. Good transparency in the barrel so you can see how much ink is left. The barrel has an engraved name, "TAJIKA". The cap band is engraved "Pelikan 400 Germany". The nib is a KF (kugel fine, which means a ball shape on the nib). It's soft, but doesn't have much line variation. Very good condition. There are some spots of mild brassing on the clip. 5 3/16, 132 mm
