Waterman is one of the oldest pen companies in business - sort of.
The original L.E.Waterman Company began in 1884. They did very well for years, producing many of the world's
finest pens. They gave up manufacturing in America in 1958. Since that time, Waterman pens have been made by
what had been their French subsidiary, which survives to this day.

Wood Barrel Waterman LeMan 100
|
A big pen that's made out of wood (olive?). Cartridge-converter.
Medium 18 kt. two tone nib.
5 5/8", 144 mm. These were very expensive collectors items
originally, but the wood stains with ink, as you can see below the nib and at
the end of the barrel. If you don't mind the staining, the wood has a very
warm feel, and it's a great writer.
Price: $175 inclusive of S/H/I

Waterman 514 Eyedropper filler
|
A very special Waterman collector's pen. The condition of the pen is nearly perfect.
It has a broad stub Waterman Ideal New York #4 nib. There's a gorgeous engraving of initials SW on the
indicia. The overlay is 14 kt gold. The one means a "cone cap" - basically it's friction held. I'm happy
to answer questions, especially about this pen. The condition is immaculate. 5 5/16", 136 mm.
Price: $950 inclusive of S/H/I

Waterman 0512 1/2 Eye-dropper
|
Wonderful, nearly mint condition. Waterman Ideal #2 nib. Small, trim. 0 =
gold filled; 5 = Gold; 1=cone cap; 2=nib size. Collector grade.
Price: $450 inclusive of S/H/I

Waterman 0552 Gold Filigree
|
This gold filagree Waterman is in beautiful shape, not engraved with initials
or a name. The nib is a fine flex, although you can tell it was bent at some point in the past
and repaired to straight. Otherwise the pen is in impecible shape. 5 3/8", 13.7 cm. In regard
to the name: the "0" means "gold filled", the "5" solid gold barrel and cap, "5" lever filler, and "2"
is the nib size. The lettering on the "Waterman's Ideal New York" nib is consistent with the style used 1907-1918.
Price: $425 inclusive of S/H/I

Waterman Pen and Pencil Set - Red Nib
|
This set provoked several long discussions. I don't know what to label it.
Let me start by saying it's in great condition. The set looks almost new. There's an artfully
engraved set of initials "F M" on the bands (very professional and subtle). The cap looks like the
"Emblem" model, while the barrel has a stairstep end (like the cap end of the #7, #5, or #94). It's a
single arm lever (not Ink-Vue style). The nib says "Red Waterman Ideal Canada", and the very clear imprint
also says that the set is from Canada. I'd say the nib is a flexible Fine-medium that's fun to write with.
Price: $175 inclusive of S/H/I

Waterman 5
|
The Waterman 5 is a nice size pen. This one is exotic black, and has a #4 manifold nib in medium.
1930s vintage lever filler. The condition is excellent except for one small bite mark or ding near the end of
the cap. Otherwise there's a little drawer wear and not much else. The base of the pen has the green inlay
and #5 embossed.
Price: $95 inclusive of S/H/I

Waterman 0503 Set -Gold Filled Filigree
|
There's a Basketweave pattern on this gold-filled filigree Waterman set from the 1930s.
The pen and pencil were acquired separately, but since they're the correct match, they're being sold
as a set. Only the pen is engraved. The nib is a semi-flex fine. The pen is 5 1/8", 13.1 cm. Super
condition. The lever was repaired but is now fine and functional. So is the pencil.
Price: $500 inclusive of S/H/I

Waterman Taperite - 14 Kt Gold Filled Cap
|
The weight on this lever filler is particularly nice. The cap looks good other
than some surface wear (there's no discoloration - the yellow above is reflection artifact). The nib
is a small medium (typical Taperite). A solid pen in very good condition. 5 1/4", 133 mm. Lever filler.
Price: $75 inclusive of S/H/I

Taperite with Aluminum cap
|
Not a fancy pen. Lever filler. Small fine-medium nib. Aluminum cap is fairly scuffed.
However, should work well for everyday use.
Price: $35 inclusive of S/H/I

Waterman Junior
|
